Running Imp Limited is the UK’s established market leader in running/charity event supplies and event medals.

 Experts in running and charity event supplies, Running Imp is a mail order company stocking everything event organisers could possibly need to make their event a success – a one-stop shop. Predominantly supplying equipment to running events, we stock everything from event signage, branding and competitor identification to finisher’s medals, mementoes, trophies and awards. The company is especially renowned for specialising in the design and production of Bespoke Medals too. Building a glowing reputation and now celebrating our 30 year anniversary, we have extended our services to include charities, councils, colour runs and many different sporting organisations over the last decade.

We’re proud to serve a diverse range of customers. This means those organising local village fun runs to those overseeing some of the world’s most prestigious events. Each year, the Virgin Money London Marathon relies upon Running Imp to install, support, maintain and man 55 timing clocks that line the course of this world-famous event. This year, Running Imp are absolutely delighted to announce that our Bespoke Medals division is now the official medal supplier to the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon. With the next race taking place on Sunday April 22nd 2018, we simply cannot wait to produce the medals that will reward the incredible achievements of thousands. Selling products in the UK, we also serve customers throughout Europe and as far away as Mexico and New Zealand. Every year, we produce over three million medals and trophies, custom designed and engraved from our purpose-built premises in Lincoln.

 

 Running Imp – A Family Run Business

Chris Illsley and Caroline Birkin founded Running Imp in 1988. Managing Director Faye Watson joined the family run business in 1991. Originally joining as an Office Junior, Faye’s drive, dedication and loyalty has led her to the position she holds today. Expanding rapidly over the years, we’ve grown from just two staff to over 65 currently. This number rises in the peak months of April to July. Running Imp is proud to call Jubilee House our home, a large purpose-built office facility with a connecting warehouse that was opened by Olympic medallist Steve Cram in 2013.

Bespoke Medals and Bespoke Fundraising Supplies

Earning a global reputation for the quality of our custom medals, Bespoke Medals was born in 2010. This division specifically deals with the design and manufacture of Medals, Custom Coins and Pin Badges at wholesale prices. With fundraising becoming a much larger focus for clubs, companies and organisations, we created Bespoke Fundraising Supplies too. This new specialist division exists to solely deal with charity and fundraising merchandise and products.
